Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Daniel McEowen is a graduate of the KSPT Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2011 from the University of Indianapolis. He has carried a passion for education throughout his career becoming a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2013 and more recently serving as adjunct faculty with Governor State University’s DPT program. He has many pursuits for continually learning as he regularly participates in continuing education. Dr. McEowen is a lifetime provider of Astym soft tissue regenerative treatment. He has a special interest in understanding the body’s inter-connections to help promote a healthy and functional movement system. To this aim, Dr. McEowen has completed coursework with CREAT, RockTape, and with the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) in pursuit of a certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT). He is also in pursuit of another formal graduate degree, a Doctorate of Health Science (DHSc). Dr. McEowen lives in Homewood, Illinois with his wife, Emily and two sons, Asher and Graham. He enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, traveling, reading, and writing.
