Physical Therapist
Dr. Daniel McEowen is a 2011 graduate of the KSPT Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Indianapolis. He has carried a passion for education throughout his career becoming a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2013 and, more recently, serving as adjunct faculty with Governor State University’s DPT program. He regularly participates in pursuits that encourage continuous learning. Dr. McEowen is a lifetime provider of Astym soft tissue regenerative treatment. He has a special interest in understanding the body’s interconnections to help promote a healthy and functional movement system. To this aim, Dr. McEowen has completed coursework with CREAT, RockTape, and the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) in pursuit of a certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT). He is also in pursuit of another formal graduate degree, a Doctorate of Health Science (DHSc). Dr. McEowen lives in Homewood, Illinois, with his wife, Emily, and two sons, Asher and Graham. He enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, traveling, reading, and writing.
